Ritsumeikan University's Seinosuke Kimura to join Cerezo Osaka in January 2027

Cerezo Osaka are pleased to announce that Seinosuke Kimura will join the club from Ritsumeikan University for the 2026/27 season (from January 2027). We can also confirm that he has been approved by the Japan Football Association as a "2026/27 Season JFA/J.League Special Designated Player."

"My name is Seinosuke Kimura from Ritsumeikan University, and I will be joining Cerezo Osaka in 2027. I am truly honored to once again wear the Sakura emblem of the club I love, the club that saw my potential when I was in elementary school and helped me grow over seven years, and to have the opportunity to play for Cerezo again. I have not walked this journey alone.
