"I feel immensely honored to be able to continue this journey with all of you. To fight with the feelings of the Cerezo Osaka supporters on our shoulders is something special, and my resolve to deliver continued success is stronger than ever. When I took charge at the beginning of this season, I laid out two goals. They were to bring back the 'attacking football' that is traditionally associated with Cerezo Osaka, and to nurture promising talent and guide it to the top level. As the season concludes, we can proudly boast the following achievements. The 2025 team recorded the highest number of goals since 2017. Simultaneously, we succeeded in transforming the team's average age from the fourth-highest in the league to the fourth-youngest team. Our ultimate goal is to bring titles (trophies) to all of our supporters. While we were able to build a very strong foundation in 2025, the step toward winning a title is large and steep. It can only be realized with the support of everyone who has 'pink blood' flowing through their veins! Let's fight together next season."
